Brother Slacker and his brother, Destroyer, lived in a run down vineyard in Laziville on 18th St. They got along very well and work together even better! Some people say that Slacker and Destroyer worked more skilled than the greatest bank robbers you’ll ever meet. Here’s how they worked: Slacker would always show up by himself, and engage you in the most entertaining and refreshing conversation. Through this conversation you’d feel great, because he had a way of putting you at ease from all of the important things that needed to be done. He’d show up every few days, giving you an opportunity to get enough work done to make sure you never felt his surprise visit coming.

After he had enough visits to break the ice with you, Slacker’s brother would show up disguised as someone other than a the relative of Slacker. Where Slacker made you feel at ease, Destroyer did the complete opposite. He made you nervous, panicky, and desperate. He’d walk into your home or office and break something small or hide something that needed to be completed, causing minor frustrations and slip-ups. After a few breaks and and incomplete task, Slacker’s visits would slow down just a tad and Destroyer seem to be a regular visitor.

Destroyer’s work was so cleaver, because he worked across the board. Once he showed up at one place, he’d visit every place you frequented. He’d show up in your car, your home, your church, your bank. If you gave Slacker an inch, Destroyer would take 3 miles. Slacker showing up to spend time with you was an indication of a downward spiral visit from Destruction himself. What made it even harder was that Slacker and Destroyer were wouldn’t listen to anyone. However they were scared of 2 rich old ladies named Grace and Diligence. These ladies were the only way to get rid of these brothers.

Grace and Diligence were the wealthiest people in the world, and some people said they were the nicest and most generous as well. However, Laziville didn’t take to kindly to these two women, especially Diligence. Diligence, in Laziville’s mind, was a meanest old lady who absolutely hated them and everything they stood for. They believed she wanted to renovate Laziville and change it’s name.

Some of this was true. Diligence was a fat old woman who had a large appitite, and Her plan was to build restaurant chains and luring hard working businesses to Laziville. This would’ve taken them from being the poorest town to the wealthiest town. It sounded great to the Lazi People, but once they realized they would have to work for the dream plan to happen they banned Diligence from visiting Laziville. When the people did that, she withdrew all of her support to the town, but Grace’s approach was different.

Grace was a very compassionate lady. Although she was consistently frustrated and disappointed with the Lazi people, she knew if she held back her generousness it would be to every single person’s demise. Laziville knew this, and although the didn’t acknowledge her often they were scare of what life would be like without her.

If you have any desire to do anything involving greatness chapter 16(1-3,9,16,18,& 26) must become very familiar to you. I can’t be reminded enough to commit/roll my work to the Lord. The commit/roll is an ongoing process. Rolling my work to God yesterday isn’t enough rolling for today. It has to be consistent.

As we roll, we must be sure to be sensitive to His directing. God’s steps may take you in a direction you may not be expecting, however we must keep in mind that He is omniscient (all knowing).

Be sure to stay way from pride, because it’s an indicator that destruction is soon to come.

How hungry are you? The hungrier you are the more you work. Hunger works to your benefit.

Perverse and Unfaithful in the book of Proverbs are words that automatically make me think of a fool. However, understanding that perversion is taking something away from it’s purpose, we as committed Christians can be perverse and definitely unfaithful. The outcome of this, based on Prov 11:3, is self destruction. If we are going be one known as upright and not ruined, we must walk with integrity and in our God given purpose. If you are not being and doing who and what God has purposed for you will end in your emotional, mental, financial, and even physical destruction.
